Magna House

It was modern looking & nicely decorated, only 10 mins from Thorpe Park, & 15 from Windsor which was the reason for our visit. Big fridge & good kitchen appliances. Plenty of parking

6 of us in the apartment, there were 3 double bedrooms, but only a very small sofa & one chair, so not enough comfortable seats for us. Oven was filthy. Big bedrooms, but no bedside tables. One of the showers had a split hose, another shower didn't drain away properly so couldn't be used for more than a few minutes, and the other showers temperature was hard to alter. I actually got stuck in our shower, the door wouldn't open from the outside. The hook on the back of the door was broken, so couldn't be used. The TV reception was bad, BBC channels wouldnt tune in at all.

The television in my room made a loud noise at 3:00 in the morning and was flashing red lights. This woke me up and affected my day of work the following day. I received about 100 automated messages about the house. The apartments were kind of dirty and smelled like mildew. We asked for a late checkout and were told this was not possible, but the cleaners were nowhere to be found at 10 AM on checkout day.

Very easy access, very clean and comfortable

I was in apartment 1, which was from the outside and there were no signs. Spent like 5 minutes trying to figure it out.

The location was perfect. It’s a quick walk to most of the restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores. Royal Holloway was also a very walkable distance. Parking was easy. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The apartment had plenty of space and nice big windows.

The biggest complaint we had was the bed. The mattress was extremely worn. It did not have much support and the individual coils could be felt. It was also shorter than the bed frame by a few inches.
