The very calm atmosphere and friendly staff. The manager gave very good advise and recommendations.

The property is beautifully decorated. Our room was lovely and a really good size. We were given everything we needed. The breakfast is really tasty and we had a choice of western and Indian food.

Ability to flag down rickshaws was difficult as it was on a side street and Uber's weren't that often available.

This is the second time my friend and I stayed at this wonderful property with its wonderful staff and owner. From breakfast, room service, comfort, aesthetic pleasure (the property is done up so thoughtfully with a lot of taste and includes a shop with wonderful and inexpensive jewellery and other things -- everything is top notch. For sure we are coming back.

We absolutely loved Villa 243 - everyone was so welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our trip was comfortable, even allowing us access to the room 4 hours early after coming off a night train. The owner gave us great food recommendations and good advice for what we wanted to see and do. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are super comfortable and the rooftop is a lovely place to sit and relax. Breakfast is also brilliant AND there is an on site boutique shop with jewellery and block printed products which shouldn’t be missed. The villa is out in the new town and so lovely and peaceful away from the busy city centre. Worth bearing in mind when planning activities and transport and be prepared to rely on Ubers!

The room was comfy and inviting and I apprecated the bottled water everyday. The water pressure in the shower was the best Ive ever experienced in a hotel and was heaven. Thanks for the tip to let the water run to make sure its hot!

After eating breakfast and dinner at the hotel for several nights in a row, I wished for a little more variety. I will say the staff was incredible and service was devine.

The staff were super helpful, friendly and accommodating. As for the accommodation it was both clean and comfortable.

The cons would be: The location - as it’s a bit far from any of the main attractions Evident wear and tear - the main shower head in my bathroom was broken.
