Great location, modern, spacious, clean

Only issue was one washing machine wasn’t working in the laundry

Great location central to everything and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Well equipped kitchen and very clean. The barbecue was quite handy. The accomodation is very spacious. however, it would be great to have an aircon unit in the bedroom area as well. The only aircon unit in the lounge will not flow into the bedroom during very hot weather, despite the flow fans. Otherwise all else was excellent. Will definitely come back next visit.

The Ocean Palms Apartment we stayed in matched the photos exactly. Well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Spotlessy clean, extensive set of utensils neatly arranged, clean bedding, towels etc. The kitchen has a large fridge, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker etc and all the cups glasses, bowls, plates you could need. A washing machine and dryer are available too. A full range of consumables were also provided. I think there are about 25 apartments. On-site parking is available for about 6 cars with planty of roadside parking outside. Tropical shrubs and trees screen a well appointed pool with quality loungers, sink, shower and toilet. The location is really its star quality though. A short walk to a good range of shops, bars and restaurants, but just far enough away to be quiet! A little further in the other direction takes you to four mile beach, a massive bay of sand beach ideal for walking, jogging etc. There is a netted area where you can swim protected from the stingers (jellyfish) which normally prevent bathing at this time of year (March). Port Douglas is a very nice place to stay with its shops bars restuarants etc, and also ideal for exploring the Daintree area. The large marina offers every kind of excursion.

Not much to improve really, I think the owners are on top of maintenance etc, so no problems during our stay.

The host was exceptionally helpful with everything. Provided complimentary washing up tablets etc as well as an early check in (which was available). Thoroughly loved this apartment, so so impressed!

Clean, neat and tidy. Excellent location.

Communal areas were a bit scruffy. For example broken floor tiles. There was also considerable leaks from the roof and the car park was consistently flooded following heavy rainfall.
