Curly Redwood Lodge

Person attending at the lobby is very nice and friendly. Thank you. Room is very nice and clean.

Was given an ADA room and was told it was an upgrade, but there was no counter room in bathroom, the shower left a puddle of water in the middle of the floor in front of the sink. The towels were old and stained, but smelled clean. We also couldn’t park in front of our room like everyone else. Way too expensive for what we received. We were deceived by the ratings seen on Hotels.com.

This motel is a classic and we loved the charm of it. It was conveniently located to the redwoods without all the congestion. Bed was comfy and it had what we needed for our 1 night. Recommend going to the pier to see the seals.

It had a old 70s style and was nice

This place is historic but thats it. A very uncomfortable stay, bed uncomfortable, thin walls, tv was on side of the bed so hard to watch. Fancy sink isnt practical, no room on counter. Towels were scratchy and didn't smell fresh.

The Curly Redwood is historical and so cool.

Nice very unique place to stay. Checking clerk didn’t tell us it was an upstairs room until after we had paid. When we got to the room it was cold because they turn the heat all the way off instead of just lowering the thermostat a couple degrees. We turned on the baseboard heater and plugged in a portable fan to circulate the heat but it was miserable to sit in the room with our coats on under the covers watching television for several hours while it warmed up. Bathroom was clean and had a nice shower.

The motel was very nice and updated with a retro design to help preserve the heritage of the establishment and pay homage to the surrounding area.
