My stay at Urban Garden Hostel in Lisbon had some positive aspects, but overall it was not very comfortable for me. The hostel has good hot water, and I appreciated that quiet hours were respected after around 23:00–00:00, which is great if you want to sleep.

However, the beds were quite uncomfortable. I stayed on the top bunk, and the ladder felt more like a metal pipe, which made it difficult and a bit unsafe to climb. The bed also made noise with every movement, and the mattress was very hard, which made it difficult to rest well. Another inconvenience was the bathroom location. It was quite far from the room, so going to the toilet at night meant walking through corridors, which was not very comfortable. Overall, while there are some good points, the comfort level did not meet my expectations. Compared to another hostel I stayed at in Lisbon (Room00 Lisboa), I personally found the comfort level there much higher, especially in terms of beds and overall design.

We liked the hostel’s location; the instructions at check-in were very clear and the staff were very friendly, especially Cande and Mimi, with whom we had a good chat and had a great time.
