The property was very nice very clean excellent on one level for my disabled wife. The drive up was a bit bumpy but you expect that in the Campo other than that it was a lovely place to stay. The only next door was very nice and very helpful the metal gates outside are a bit hard to undo, but we managed.

My two guest said that the single beds were a bit uncomfortable and on the small side that was the only problem we found with it

The pool, terraces, shaded areas, views were all exceptional. The house was a real home away from home. so well stocked and equipped. I had all I needed to cook lots of nice meals. the outdoor BBQ was super. we could have breakfast on one terrace, with a view of a valley of fruit trees and the Med, shaded by a lovely canopy. then a bbq in the evening on a different terrace under the shade of an olive tree. we could watch the sun set from there. stunning. There is a lovely beach (Buriani) only a 5 minute drive from the house. you can rent out pedals, paddle boards and kayaks here, as well as having a nice paella in the evening time. The wonderful caretaker, Tony, lives next door and was so helpful and kind. he dropped freshly laid eggs in, sweet potatoes just harvested, grapes and blackberries. he cleaned the pool several times during our stay meaning we had a spotless pool throughout the 2 weeks. we made good use of it! we were a party of 6 - myself and my husband, 2 teenagers (17 and 13) and my parents in their early eighties. we all loved it!

while very close to Nerja (3km), it was impossible to get a taxi to collect us from the house to bring us to town at night. it was possible to walk, but very rough and steep path so not suitable for my elderly parents who were with us. the drive to the house was along a dirt road with a drop one side. I was afraid to drive at all. luckily my husband was fine with the driving. car essential and not possible to stroll to shops, cafe or restaurant. a wonderful retreat to chill out and spend quality time with family. when we went out for dinner my husband would drive some of us into town (5 mins) and then drive back and walk back in to join us. the walk would take him 20 mins and was quite pleasant in the cooler evening. the only thing that would make this the ideal holiday location would be if we could access the town centre more easily (perhaps the owners could make a deal with a local taxi company).
