Fijn dat het pal aan zee ligt maar toch ook een zwembad erbij heeft. Bij zowel het zwembad als het stuk zee waar je mag zwemmen is een badmeester aanwezig. Je kunt activiteiten boeken zoals snorkelen, glasbodemboot, lopen over de zeebodem enz. Excursies voor de rest van het eiland kan je niet boeken. De bushalte van de luchthavenshuttle stopt recht voor de deur. Van en naar de luchthaven is het ideaal. Wij hadden op de heenweg de limousinebus gepakt (stopt bij grote hotels voor de deur) en die stopte alleen bij het zusterhotel. Moesten we met alle bagage nog een flink stuk lopen terwijl deze bus op 3 meter afstand van de voordeur stopt. Aanrader dus! Qua eten is er niet veel. Wij verbleven hier zes nachten en hadden ontbijt erbij. Het ontbijt bestaat uit 3 keuzes. Gapao rijst, tacorijst of een broodje hamburger. Ik lust geen vis dus de eerste optie viel voor mij af; ik ga geen broodje hamburger eten in de ochtend dus at ik 4 ochtenden tacorijst. De anddre 2 ochtenden hebben we ontbijt gehaald bij Lawson die naast het hotel zit. Een soort buffetontbijt (hoeft niet heel uitgebreid) zou beter zijn dan gasten een week lang 3 dezelfde dingen aanbieden als ontbijt. Lunch kan je halen bij het zwembad. Niet echt lunch maar stokjes inktvis of kip. Curryrijst kon ook maar dat was altijd net op. Op zich was de kamer prima. Groot genoeg, uitzicht op zee, schoon en airco. Iedere dag wordt een tas met schone handdoeken aan de deur gehangen.

アクティビティのカウンターの職員が感じ悪かった

Unfortunately, this was so bad we had to leave one day early. The room was very small and the cheap air-conditioner was mounted right above the bed, making it very difficult to sleep. I caught a cold from the aircon. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful, however, even though in Japan all beaches are legally considered public land, including those in Okinawa, the hotel operators treat it as if it were their private beach, closing and opening the beach at times convenient for them and forbidding guests to bathe where they wish. Service is minimum (low cost), so any guests’ requests are summarily dismissed without an apology. The free “breakfast” was a dry piece of bread with a sad looking industrial cold hamburger. The place is full of screaming children, dangerously running around and making a mess. There are no quiet areas in the hotel, which is right next to a highway. I hope this is not the new normal for Japanese “Omotenashi”. Even when we decided to leave, there was no apologies and no courtesy. I have lived in Japan for 28 years, and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had.

I booked the hotel for the view and loved it. The property was very clean with a charming private beach that’s perfect for relaxing or enjoying peaceful walks along the shore. I especially appreciated having a Lawson convenience store on-site. The nearby bus station made it easy to explore the surrounding area and go on little adventures. Recommended for a quiet, scenic mini break.

Great property…lots of close restaurants to walk to…very relaxed and calm area…beautiful sunsets

Free parking and all water activities available on site. Close to some really nice restaurants.
