"Garza Cancun is Our First Choice"

We have been to Garza Cancun many times and each time gets better and better. The staff is so attentive and now recognizes us. The visit began with excellent service from Bell staff including Juan & Candalario (but they are ALL excellent). We were assigned Butlers Arcos and Sos and they were incredible. They handled any issue we had no matter how small, like a noise from the refrigerator (they called Maintenance who came right up and fixed it). We had made our restaurant reservations online and it was easy, but there was a mixup one evening and Arcos and Sos handled it. We remained flexible since it was the busiest week of the year and were prepared to have room service, but they were able to get us a table at our first choice. The pool was especially crowded, which we expected, and we were able to get a chair by asking Erick, Daniel or Marcos (Pool Butlers)during the time we were there. We never expected to get a sunny seat every day, but a few of the days we did and that was amazing. We LOVE the dining hall for breakfast and all of the staff is amazing. We were treated especially well by Jesus and Juan Carlos. Felix is an amazing Manager of the Dining hall at breakfast and the hostesses are cheerful and welcoming. The buffet at dinner is delicious with plenty of choices (even gluten-free!) by Manager Miguel and waiter Eduardo. We also enjoyed a few days at the rooftop pool which was more quiet. Jaciel was so kind to help when our son fell and needed some ice, and he was very attentive to our needs. The bar staff everywhere are experts at their craft. Victor at the swim-up bar is amazing with whatever your thirst demands! Our favorite restaurants are Bocados, Hiroshi and Dao. At Bocados we want to give a special shout-out to Manager Edgar, incredible staff Jose and Martine and Chef (cannot remember his name) who prepared a special dish for our son (who lapped up every bite!). We are treated like royalty at Bocados and we love the steaks. We LOVE Hiroshi, where everyone is incredible and the food is delicious. Alejandro runs a tight ship that is eager to serve no matter your taste. We were competently served by Edwin and Pedro who were awesome. We had a special Christmas Day dinner at Dao. Chef Atlas Ho is amazing and caters to our every need (gluten-free and dairy-free). We love the family-style choices. Adriana is a kind and caring Manager who is loved by her staff and it shows. Every member is right at your side no matter what you need. We had an amazing visit even with the snafu with our return transportation. It seems there was an accident getting to the hotel to pick us up, causing several families to be a bit delayed in leaving the resort. The front desk snapped into action with the help of Bell staff/Butler and, voila! We were in a taxi on our way only a few minutes late. We made our flight with time to spare. We can't wait to go back! We are constantly in awe at the service and kindness we receive at Garza Cancun!

"Great service and beautiful room"

Beautiful rooms, highly recommend booking a swim up suite. All of the food and drinks were a 10/10. (Our favorites being the sushi restaurant and the steakhouse.) The service all around was super attentive and exceeded all expectations. More specifically the bell boy Jair made my experience all the more times better. He remembered all of my family members names and greeted us every time we crossed paths. He was extremely friendly and helpful whenever we had questions. Thank you Jair for making my family's vacation one that we will always remember! We will definitely be back.

"A great all inclusive"

We are generally not all inclusive people but this resort far exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, cold towels meet you as you get out of the car and check in is easy. Every single person we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, modern, and clean. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that was fantastic. Room service was prompt and delicious. Our favorite spot was the rooftop pool with special service from Karla and chair service (and bonus sunglass cleaning) from Michel - who literally started working at the resort thie same day we arrived. The food was better than any all inclusive we have ever been to - we loved the steakhouse and Japanese but truly didn’t have a bad meal. There isn’t a club or much nightlife but we didn’t need it. Hammocks on the balconies were enjoyed by all! We never made it to the spa…only complaint would be the price of the sunscreen but we should have packed more! Our entire family really enjoyed the trip. We did sit at the beach one day 1 but truly preferred the rooftop pool - view and service!

Garza Blanca was wonderful. From the beautiful and quiet beach to the pools to the amazing room with its seaside view. The restaurants were fabulous and varied. (Best chilaquiles I’ve ever had.) And the staff made us feel pampered. From our concierges Armando Rios and Isis, to the bell staff. Candelario gave us a warm greeting every time we passed. From the waiters and bar tenders to the housekeepers who kept us stocked with luxurious towels. I’d give them six stars if I could.

"Amazing resort in Cancun!"

Incredible resort with outstanding service! Our family of five stayed at the Garza Blanca Resort over Christmas week. We stayed in a three bedroom penthouse loft and the accommodation may be the nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in. There was a tremendous amount of space which allowed us to share time together in the common areas (full living room, kitchen, patio, and rooftop) while each having our own bedrooms to retreat to at night. The room looked spotless upon our arrival. The service was exceptional throughout our stay, above and beyond any other resort in Cancun or Mexico we have been to. For starters, our butlers Sostenes and Arcos, were always available to make sure everything about our vacation was perfect. They communicated with me via WhatsApp and made us feel like we were their family. They were exceptional! I cannot say enough about how responsive and helpful their service was to enhance our stay. Also amazing was Alex at the beach, helping us with our beach chairs and making sure we had everything we needed throughout the day. He made our days at the beach completely stress free and we felt like VIPs as frequently as he checked in with us. Special recognition to Erick at the pool as well for his help and assistance throughout our stay and Vincente from Room Service who was always a pleasure, greeted us with a smile, and made sure our breakfast on the patio was the best start to the day possible. We made reservations for dinner ahead of time and each night were seated promptly at our reservation time. Food was excellent as were the waiters.

not much

the hotel itself was constantly hot. didn't seem like the air works properly. They restaurants were only open from 7 to 11:30 then 5:30 to 10. If you wanted to eat lunch order room service the middle of the day and wait an hour or go to the pool and order food. then for dinner you ned reservations everywhere even though the restaurants were always half full and in order to get a table you have to eat at 9 to 9:30. A total joke considering how much we paid. latly housekeeping came after 5pm one night. we told them we were realaxing come back in an hour and they said ok but never did. A lot of people working at the hotel spoke very little if any english. I would never go back

"Third Visit to a Favorite Resort—Still Beautiful, but a Rocky Start This Time"

Garza Blanca Cancun remains one of the most beautiful resorts in Cancun—stunning turquoise waters, modern design, and a luxurious atmosphere that had made us loyal repeat guests. This was our third visit, but unfortunately, it began with a series of frustrating issues that took away much of the excitement we’d built up. While the staff later worked to make things right, the rough start left us hesitant about future stays, including a 15th wedding anniversary celebration we had hoped to host in the 4-bedroom penthouse. The problems began at the airport. We had prepaid months in advance for a private SUV transfer through Aventour, expecting a smooth, comfortable arrival. Instead, our name wasn’t on their list. After waiting more than an hour in the crowded, hot terminal, we were transported in a standard van—hardly what we paid for. When we finally arrived at the resort, things only got worse: the front desk couldn’t find our prepaid reservation and said we owed an additional $1,700— that had already been paid. After over an hour of back and forth, advocacy on our own behalf, and showing confirmations and receipts, we were told we have to follow-up throughout our trip to see if they could find our final payment. To their credit, the resort eventually resolved the payment issue (on the last day of our trip) and reimbursed us for the difference between the van and the SUV. However, we felt the compensation didn’t come close to covering the stress, time, and effort we spent checking in daily to see whether they had finally located our final payment. Also, this experience put a huge damper on what was supposed to be an end of the year celebration for our family. The situation was stressful, disorganized, and disappointing for a brand we’ve trusted for years. The entire situation left a bad taste, especially as returning guests who had always recommended this property to friends and family. Once we settled in, though, the Garza Blanca hospitality we’ve come to love was evident. The staff were kind, attentive, and eager to make our stay comfortable. Our 4-year-old daughter absolutely loved the kids club—the team running it was wonderful, engaging her in creative crafts, beach games, and fun activities that became the highlight of her days. Dining remained exceptional throughout, with DAO standing out as the best restaurant on the property. The upscale Chinese cuisine was truly memorable—each meal thoughtfully prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Drinks were a mixed experience. Poolside and beach restaurant cocktails tended to be a little watered down for our taste, lacking the consistent quality we’ve enjoyed at other top-tier resorts and at our previous stays at the Garza Blanca. However, the main lobby bar was a completely different story thanks to two incredible bartenders, Mauricio and Leo. Their mixology skills and genuine hospitality made every evening special. Mauricio absolutely mastered the Naked and Famous—his smoky, citrusy version was awesome. Both of them went above and beyond, remembering our preferences and creating a welcoming, personal atmosphere that quickly became a nightly ritual. Garza Blanca continues to have so much potential, but consistency and reliability are key—especially for loyal returning guests. Management, please take note: we’re still considering hosting our 15th wedding anniversary and bringing our family to stay in the 4-bedroom penthouse loft, but this experience has made us hesitant to commit. A resort as stunning as this deserves operations as impeccable as its setting. Addressing these front-end issues would go a long way toward restoring the trust of guests like us who truly want to return.

"Great Facilities, Nice Beach, plenty of room to improve"

Garza Blanca was a good experience, the room modern and wide, the food we tried different restaurants, Mexican, Asian, Steakhouse etc, they were all great but I think there’s plenty of room to improve the experience and the service provided by the hotel, waiters and staff throughout the premises, we visited during Xmas time and the place was not even half full of their capacity and we had to been calling for service at the pool, at the beach, at some restaurants, it felt they didn’t care customers are there, the restaurants have menus with items that are not available for all inclusive and also prices which is deceiving because if it is “All inclusive” you shouldn’t be worrying about prices, then I understood that it’s because when you close your check to “0.00” they ask if you want to leave a tip according to what you spent; but if you do the math Pesos to US Dollars you can tell they nickel and dime you, so this makes it awkward because if you tip in cash (even when it says it’s included and not necessary) they expect an amount closer to what they suggest in the check. When restaurants are closed, there’s no place where to have a coffee with a pastry unless you do “Room service”we found a little coffee station at the bar in the Lobby but just the coffee plain and simple, I believe Garza Blanca can become one of the best resorts in the area if they put a little more effort with their customer service.

"Blanca blue—amazing"

We went to Blanca Blue last night with a party of 16 for a family reunion. It was our first night altogether in the resort and the restaurant was amazing. Isaac and Abel took great care of us. Half of our party are vegetarians, and they took the liberty of bringing out a variety of appetizers with some meat on the side for those that wanted. The tuna appetizer as well as the Fundido were great and the soups that they recommended were very flavorful. They also brought one of every dessert for us to try and made great recommendations for the drinks.
