Chalets Bougainville

We had a wonderful stay at Chalets Bougainville. The view over the coastline and Indian Ocean is spectacular, especially as seen from the relaxing infinity pool. Our hosts were super kind, interesting and always ready to help with any questions we had. We enjoyed every moment in this tropical paradise, especially the beaches including the mind blowing Anse Intendance. We bought fresh fruit including papaya closeby, as well as fresh fish sold by the local fishermen by the road. We recommend a rental car as this allows you to easily experience the whole beautiful Island. The interior design of the Chalets was exquisite.

Very nice view! Breakfasts and dinners were with fantastic view to the ocean! And perfect to sleep with sound of ocean.

Not really privacy.

Our stay there exceeded our expectations. It is one of those places you promise yourself to return again. The view from the Chalets was breathtaking. You have the ocean at your feet. The infinity pool is very smartly located in the garden with ocean view as well. Everything was extremely clean with attention to detail, you could say from the first moment that the amenities and the chalets are 5-stars level. The kitchen was fully organised, you could cook almost everything. The chalet we stayed (lemon) was recently renovated, with beautiful decoration. The bed had one of the best matresses ever tried on a hotel. Cleaning (& fresh flowers!) was daily which leads me to the best part of our stay which is the owners of the property. Maeggi & Joe were excellent hosts from the first moment. Always available with the best tips to get the most out of your vacation, very explanatory & clear about the policies but most of all they made you feel like you were a host at their house. Highly recommended.

The property looks just like in the pictures. The view is amazing.

Its a bit remote. To move around the island, or for going to the beach or shops, a car is a must.

We spent 4 fantastic days in Mae in Chalets Bougainville. We liked it very much. We staid in Cocos apartment. It has spectacular view on the ocean. You fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. Apartment is very cosy and authentic. Every detail speaks of owners love and care. There are all you need for living. The terrace is something special and when you open big doors the bedroom and terrace are turning in one harmonious space. Also there is a parking. Maeggi and Joe are very hospitable and attentive. They are trying to make guest’s accommodation comfortable and safe.

Beautiful apartment with a large terrace, cleaned every day with arranged flowers. The best view we've ever had. I liked stylish furniture and wonderful garden. The host, Maggie is very nice and helpful.

It’s well maintained and clean

Unfortunately lack of hospitality Extremely unprofessional, lack of privacy the owner will enter your rental property! on Sunday the day we check inn ( no cleaning required plus no cleaning on Sunday anyway) she snuffed though our stuff just a few minutes after we left! She Will FORBIDDEN you to use air conditioning during the day even if it’s super hot!!! She will be arrogant and spend30 minutes telling you What NO TO Do but never ones apologies for the inconvenience of constructing side !!!! After visiting 70 countries I must say the Worst Experience ever! Don’t recommend to my worst enemy
