The shower and location wasn’t too bad.

My stay at the hotel was a complete disappointment. To begin with, we were put in the wrong room, which was smaller and less comfortable than the one we had paid for. What's worse is that we paid more for the room we were put in. The sheets and pillows were old and disgusting. We were so appalled by their condition that we ended up putting our t-shirts over the pillows to sleep on them. The only redeeming feature of the room was the clean shower. We were so tired from traveling that we decided to stay despite our disappointment. However, I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, especially if they are paying the higher rate. We paid $43 a night for a double toom, which is significantly more than the usual rate. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay, you might be able to get a good deal. But if you're looking for a comfortable and clean stay, this is not the place for you. I rarely leave reviews.

The owner was very friendly and always willing to help us!

Firstly- Maria is, without a doubt, one of, if not the single sweetest person we’ve met during our travels thus far. Her generosity is unmatched and her company is more than enjoyable. Her quirky and unique abode comes with the cutest kittens ever and is a quick walk into town. We can’t recommend her place more and hope to see her again in the future. Pro tip? She makes homemade empanadas and cinnamon rolls on Sundays so be sure to buy some of those!

the owner is a very nice lady. she let us check in early and let us have some of her freshly baked bread. The bathroom facilities are clean and the shower is very good. It’s only a short 5-10 minute walk away from the Main Street so very handy. The room has a fan but it’s still quite hot.

'Cookie' the owner is so warm and friendly to her quests, you instantly feel at home. We loved Cookie!! She gave us homemade bread and jam offered us free eggs and lent us her cool box/washing machine for free. The shower is hot and lovely! ! The property might look 'well loved' and things might be a bit old, but that is reflected in the price. If there is any problems she will sort it out straight away. Cookie has 7 cats so you have to love cats if you stay here.

The bedding could do with an upgrade.

Excellent hostel with super friendly owner. Remember to try also their homemade empanadas.
