The property was clean and very conveniently located within walking distance to town and the beach. The property was comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the inclusion of sugar, tea bags, oil, salt, etc. was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable, and more bedding was available if needed. There wasn't room to park outside the property. However, there was room to drop off, and the carpark wasn't far away, and it always had room whilst we were there, so we didn't have any issues with parking. Island homes were quick to reply to any messages that we sent them, and their communication throughout the booking/holiday was excellent.

One of the main issues for us was that the floor coverings upstairs were laminate. This meant that every sound our 3 little people made upstairs was amplified, and it made us concerned about the noise for the neighbours. Perhaps a rug in the children's bedroom would help absorb some of the sound?The fire doors needed to be in the cottage but they slammed loudly - again, not so big a problem if you are adults, but it's trickier to manage if you have children. As the front door had a tendency to stick, we used the side door to the property rather than the front. Not major issues - and easily fixable, but one of the lights in the main bedroom flickered, and the double socket next to the wardrobe was loose.

The seaview was great, the kitchen was well equipped. Whole cottage very clean and modern.

nothing to not like about the property just we thought the price was a little too much in comparison to other holiday let’s I’m sage area which we later discovered.
