Private Resort Hotel RENN

Firstly Renn is an amazing host. His English is excellent and he went above and beyond to give me information, recommendations but also assistance by calling places in Japanese when the typhoon was forecast to come to these islands. I really enjoyed the room. It has a beautiful outlook and very peaceful and well decorated. It’s in a peaceful part of the island.

You absolutely need a rental car if you stay here due to the location, but anyway a rental car gives you freedom to explore the many beaches on the island. Some of the best snorkeling beaches are only 15 mins drive away. There are a few good restaurants nearby too.

開放感のある滞在スペース。テレビがないのも良い。聞こえるのは風の音、鳥の声。動物との出会い。贅沢な、忘れられない時間が過ごせました。

주인분이 매우 친절하시고 조식도 좋았도 룸도 매우 편안했다. 경치도 매우 좋은 곳에 위치합니다.

Un accès au roof top avec des marchés métalliques bruyantes quand des clients montent et descendent en permanence. Mais c’est vraiment le seul désagrément.

まず第一にオーナーのレンさんご夫妻のおもてなしがとても良い。気さくな方々で、旅の過ごし方を遠慮なく相談出来る。次に朝食が素晴らしい。建物の1階はフロントと厨房、食事のためのスペースにとなるのですが、開口部が大きく、巨大なアダンの植栽に囲まれた庭とひとつながりのダイニングは宮古島の森の中に自分だけの食卓が用意されているような不思議な感覚が得られます。野菜、肉、フルーツ、土地の産物を使った、気持ちが豊かになる朝食時間でした。 滞在中、客室の上にある屋上も、毎日利用していました。残念ながら曇りが続いたため、星空は出会えませんでしたが、深呼吸して朝日を眺めたゆったりとした時間も、このホテルならではと感じました。

徒歩圏内にはコンビニや飲食店はほぼ無いと言って良いと思います。便利さは求めないほうが良いです。 宮古島のローカルな空気を楽しむのが良いと思います。 食事処はレンさんに相談するといくつも教えてもらえます。 レンタカーで移動して、アルコールが入る場合は飲食店で運転代行を呼んでもらえるシステムです。
