I had a wonderful stay at Occazia Residence in Colombo! The accommodations were comfortable and clean, but what truly made our stay stand out was the exceptional service from Raj, our butler. He went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and made us feel right at home. Thank you, Raj, for your outstanding hospitality! I would highly recommend Occazia Residence to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Colombo.

Mr. Raj is a caretaker, and he is excellent and truly put his best effort to make sure that the guests are happy and comfortable

Despite encountering several disappointments during my stay at Accazia, there were still aspects of the location that I found appealing. The scenic surroundings provided a serene backdrop, offering moments of tranquility amidst the chaos within the accommodation. Additionally, the caretaker's kindness and willingness to assist, despite the evident need for further training, hinted at the potential for warm hospitality. While privacy was compromised by intrusive cameras, the secluded setting of the property offered a semblance of seclusion from the outside world. Despite the challenges faced, I hold hope that the owners will take constructive feedback into account and strive to enhance the guest experience, ensuring a more enjoyable stay for future visitors.

Reflecting on my experience at Accazia, there are several aspects of the location that left much to be desired. From the onset, the lack of cleanliness was a significant disappointment, with dusty rooms and neglected bathrooms harboring grime in the corners. The impractical layout of the master bed, coupled with unexpected inconveniences like incompatible electrical sockets, added to the frustration. Furthermore, the constant reminders from the caretaker about payment, coupled with the presence of intrusive cameras, detracted from any sense of privacy or relaxation. The unsettling anecdotes shared by the caretaker regarding drugs and police presence only served to heighten discomfort and distrust in the overall environment. Despite paying for the entire house, the inability to utilize one of the rooms due to it being locked underscored the dissatisfaction with the accommodations. The neglectful behavior of the caretaker in failing to clean the rooms and toilets, contrary to promises made by the owners, further compounded the negative experience. Overall, the stark contrast between the initial expectations set by booking.com and the reality of the accommodations left me regretting my decision to stay at Accazia, highlighting the need for significant improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, privacy, and communication.

The caretaker was really accommodating all your resquest at his best. Place was clean and well maintained. They allows you prepare your own food at kitchen as all the basic equipments or cooking tools are available. Rooms are spacious and clean. Overall i will thumbs up .

Felt like we were home after a long journey. We loved staying there. The caretaker was very helpful and kept the place clean. He was a nice person

The residence is very much worth every cent and the location is close to the main city area, hospitals and other shopping areas as well. However, the best part of our stay was the caretaker that came with the residence, Chandhra. Chandhra was helpful in every way possible, by getting us groceries and other goods that we needed on a day-to-day basis and also by communicating with the local taxi drivers and food delivery people when they needed directions to the residence. He kept the house spotless and was always at the door with a welcoming smile when we returned tired after a day of shopping, etc. He offered to cook us meals (local dishes) multiple times as well. Few people are as kind-hearted, caring, and honest as Chandhra and I am extremely grateful that he was there for me and my family. He made us all feel comfortable and safe as well.

The doors to the rooms and toilets could use a bit of maintenance as some of them are a bit hard to open and close and a couple of the locks didn't work properly. But, overall it was not a major nuisance.
