Acandia Hotel

מלון מעולה נקי במיקום טוב שירות מעולה פקידי הקבלה היו מאוד שירותיים ועזרו בכל שאלה. ארוחת בוקר טובה. אנחנו לקחנו חדר עם סלון והיה מאוד מפנק. ממליץ מאוד.

אין משהו שלא אהבנו הבריכה קטנה חשוב לדעת לנו פחות היה רלוונטי כי הלכנו לחופי הים. מומלץ

This is a vey comfortable hotel. Our bed was so huge I wasn’t sure when my partner was in it. Although our balcony faced the main road, it still felt private and had a handy drop-down rail for drying clothes. The en-suite is good and the shower was excellent, but we thought the shower head at waist height was the main shower and didn’t find the button that switched to the overhead shower until the last day. Doh! There is limited storage space, two small drawers and some shelves. There are more hangers than you often get in a hotel, but I still brought more and needed them. The hotel doesn’t do an evening meal, but there are many tavernas and pubs nearby and at the reception desk, they advertise deliveries in case you want a night in. The room has 3 electric sockets and 2 USB charger slots. The bathroom has one socket and a hairdryer. I’m pleased that the chambermaids didn’t insist on putting the extraneous pillows and cushions back on the bed each day after we removed them on the first day. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast is multicultural and must have something for everyone. The pool is open from 10 to 5 and only catches the sun between these times. There are bar snacks and the bar serves the pool area. Reception provides pool towels which can be changed every 2 days. I like the location. Come out of the hotel and turn left and you will quickly come to the beaches (gravelly) on the Northern tip of the island. Come out of the hotel and continue straight and you will come to the harbour. Go right from there and you will come to the windmills and the old town. Come out of the hotel and go right. After a little way you will pass a Spar on the left which has a bakery. (Handy for getting fresh sandwiches and coffee, milk and sugar as you don’t get refills in the room once you’ve used the complementary stuff.) Continue on to the top of the hill where the huge trees are, then turn left and go down the hill. At the bottom you will find the tourist end of the bus station. Do use the buses. Two of us went to Lindos and back for 22 euros and the 7 springs for 16 euros. Turn right after the bus station and you soon reach an entrance to the old town. Often the hotel has some kind of entertainment in the evenings such as a singer, piano player or tango dancers. It’s all very decorous. The bar is good and you get free crisps and nuts with each drink.

Immaculately clean and very comfortable, fab location to beach and old town/new town Rhodes. Cleaning staff excellent. Beach towels provided. Provided me with GF Bread every morning. Staff polite and attentive.

The hot food for breakfast was mostly cold and at most lukewarm. Would have liked a few more gluten free options for breakfast.

Hotellin sijainti oli kätevä, kävelyetäisyydellä kaikki merkittävät kohteet. Hotellin lähellä on useampia ravintoloita ja parikin ruokakauppaa ihan lähellä. Aamupala oli runsas, tosin joka aamu samanlainen. Hotelli oli siisti ja uusi. Huone tilava ja viihtyisä, kylpytakit mukava lisä. Sänky oli hyvä nukkua. Herttainen siistijä siivosi huoneen päivittäin. Ilmastointi oli riittävä pitämään huoneen viileänä ja hyvin säädettävissä. Hotellin pienehkö uima-allas oli meidän tarpeisiimme riittävä, vesi jo näin toukokuussa uimalämpöistä ja aurinkotuoleilla ei ollut liikaa ruuhkaa. Erilliset uimapyyhkeet plussaa. Me vietimme onnistuneen ja viihtyisän loman.

Saapuessamme illalla huoneen ilmastointi ei toiminut. Seuraavana aamuna selvisi, ettei sitä ollut kytketty päälle. Kun se sitten kytkettiin, ilmastointi toimi loppuloman moitteettomasti. Ilmastointi olisi kuitenkin hyvä kytkeä toiminmaan heti, kun vieraat saapuvat. Vessan hanasta ei alkuun tullut lämmintä vettä, mutta sekin asia korjattiin pikaisesti. Ainoa varsinainen miinus on kylpyhuoneen suihkutilan liukas lattia. Lattia muodostui suihkugeelin ja shampoon käytön jälkeen vaarallisen liukkaaksi. Lattialle olisi hyvä saada jonkinlainen liukueste. Vaatteille huoneessa on heikosti säilytystilaa. Parveke oli hyvin pieni ja meidän kohdallamme heikoilla näkymillä, joten käytimme parveketta lähinnä pyyhkeiden ja uimapukujen kuivattamiseen.

Hotel war einfach klasse und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück total lecker 😋 und es gab wirklich alles für einen guten Start in den Tag .Zimmer sehr sauber und Betten waren sehr bequem. Wir hatten einen lieben Empfang mit Obst und eine Flasche Wein. Immer wieder gerne und vielen lieben Dank nochmal an Sabrina für ihre Mühe. Dankeschön für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Steht einen 5 Sterne Hotel nicht nach. Alles fußläufig erreichbar.

The breakfasts are superb - plenty of choice and good quality. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, and the hotel is well located for the bus station, the New and Old Towns and the harbours.

A couple of minor maintenance issues which were attended to promptly.
