Stoney Creek Sunpath by Whistler Premier

I liked the central location and it met our basic needs during a work conference. The remote front desk was helpful beforehand and during our stay when we had a question or needed assistance. The free secure parking was also great as most properties charge for parking in Whistler, and we had 3 cars. The wifi was good. We didnt use the kitchen but it seemed well stocked.

The unit does not look like half the photos in the booking.com listing - it has not been renovated and still has the original 80's furniture, decor and carpets and didn't equate to almost $1000 a night. When I went back to look at the site photos on booking.com I realized they had mixed in photos of fully renovated modern units in this complex which was misleading. The photos should only show photos of the actual unit you are booking. When we arrived we had to open all the windows because there was a strong unpleasant cleaning spray odor, I am not sure if that was masking something or just bad choice of cleaning products. One of the windows was jammed shut in the bunk room, but the front desk sent someone from maintenance right away and fixed it which was good. We also needed an iron and ironing board but could only find an iron and no ironing board. It would have also been helpful if there was a welcome book about the unit and how things function, for example it was hard to adjust the shower head in the master bathroom.

Great location and comfortable set up. Cooked at home a few nights and the kitchen had everything we needed. Bus stop right opposite was convenient.

Just a bit small for 4 people but we managed.

Location and property were decent. After getting the lay of the land, we found it pretty easy to get just about anywhere in the village pretty easily. Nice to have washer/dryer in the unit.

It wasn’t super clean, outdated furniture and decor, needs a renovation with an updated HVAC system (baseboard heat and no AC). The camera doorbell made us wonder what other surveillance we were under. Not very much hot water. Most of the booking photos posted weren’t of the unit that we stayed in, a little deceptive.

Sofa bed mattress was horrible. Bathroom a little dirty.

Love how close all the shops were, not too far of a walk for lifts

This was the perfect place for our family. Very close to everything and our son enjoyed going for a swim in the snow.

The inside door knob was broken. The dishwasher seemed flooded but only found out the night before we were checking out when we wanted to use it (other nights we didn’t need it). Floor didnt seemed well vacuumed as I stepped on some crumbs on the carpet.

This place is so convenient and very cozy. I stayed here last year and I would stay here again! The person that checked me out at the the counter even recognized me from last year!
