The Old Orchard

The location of the property was excellent, the picture window from the living room gave a superb view across the town. The property was well-equipped with everything for our short stay and the open plan layout worked well for us.

The property would benefit from a tumble dryer and updated mattresses.

Well equipped accommodation with car parking

Very clean and comfortable. We loved the garden with the shady trees at the back and were able to have breakfast outside as we were lucky with the weather. Light and bright, but also cosy in the evenings. We enjoyed exploring the area by bus, boat and on foot and particularly recommend the ferry boat between Dartmouth and the castle.

The property is on a very steep hill and quite a walk down into Dartmouth, but there is a good bus service so it didn't cause us any problems after the first day. If you are going by public transport, consider using a taxi when you arrive with a case!

very nice spacious and super clean bungalow. extremely well equipped. Good sized garden with large patio area. very good water pressure, so nice hot shower. Everything you need is in the bungalow, good WiFi, good satellite TV, great kitchen. very quiet at night.

The location is up a very steep hill which could be difficult if you have mobility or health problems. there are also several steps up to the bungalow from the parking area. we found the mattresses a bit hard. This could be easily resolved with a mattress topper.

The Old Orchard was perfect for our needs. Absolutely everything was thought of. So well equipped and we really appreciated the condiments, teabags, sugar etc. The decor was lovely too.

It was a little exposed to a main road at the back of the house. But there's a big garden to cushion against the noise and it isn't super-busy.

Overall the property was lovely and had everything we needed! It was such a pity that nobody had maintained the garden and rear outdoor space with garden furniture as the weather was nice we would have liked to sat outside in the garden to eat but unfortunately it wasnt clean enough to do so, I dont think the paving had been cleaned or even swept in a long time😟 More thought to using all the gadgets including the TV and heating, we didnt find the welcome pack until the next afternoon.

Clean and spacious

Access up the steps was a little difficult, especially with bags. More explanation needed to understand water heating. Resulted in cold water being experienced for the shower. Also no oven gloves. Also more explanation needed for the different recycling bags
