Hotel Shams

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The pool was perfect for cooling off after a hot day. There’s a nice restaurant and bar nearby, which was a plus.

The hotel is a bit outside the city center, but it’s easy to reach within 15 minutes.

We stayed in a triple room (202) for 3 nights and it was 170€ with breakfast included and cancellation for free. It is on the road surrounding the city but you can yandex everywhere. Worth every penny. It belongs to a family who lives in the same building (the feeling is like staying at a chambre d'hotes). They have a good range of amenities like toothbrush and flip flops. Small swimming pool, our son loved it. Very good breakfast. It is not buffet but they keep on bringing plenty of things from where to choose. They had machines of filteted water where you can refill your bottle. Kettle and mini fridge in tje room. Air conditioning works very well. They offered late check.out without charge (I guess that varies if the hotel is full).

Room of good size covered in carpet, I would take out the carpet in the bathroom if I was the owner. Shower of the old style so bare it in mind if you are travelling with your elders. No lift so you have to carry your own lugagge (they help you though).They should put more confortable places to sit or lay next to the swimming pool. One of the matrasses was broken and they forgot to lit the hot water, but they fixed everything when told so.

We chose this hotel because of the pool and we weren’t disappointed! Breakfast was really delicious and one time they also invited us for a fantastic plov and later icecream, when we were at the pool. We needed yandex to the center, but it wasnt a problem at all.

Very nice place and clean. 15-18 Min walking distance from the center attraction of Bukhara. Bring with you swimming suit while the pool is very nice to cool down and relax for some moments after a long day visiting.

Great location, especially if you're driving and need somewhere to park. Super breakfast and fantastic architecture. This is a high quality setup with a very affordable price.

A bit far from old city, but you can walk by 20min.

The location was comfortable in that it was about 20 minutes walking distance to get to the key parts of the old town. Everything was more or less true to the profile in Booking, and the beds were comfortable.

There was no housekeeping service, and no one made up our room. The shower worked but had almost no pressure. The breakfast was pretty basic and committed the cardinal sin of not having real coffee, just a tiny bottle of instant coffee (very much not the same thing!). The woman managing breakfast was not attentive and did not refill things and carried away things for personal consumption but then did not bring out replacements for the guests. Pool water was murky.
