The location of the property is probably one of the best in Cartagena, as you're a walk away from all main areas. The rooftop terrace was also fantastic, and good views of the city. The owner was very friendly and could speak very good English (which helped us as our Spanish was a bit limited). Place has a free refill water filter as well!

The property itself was a bit dirty, especially the kitchen which didn't look maintained, with dirty washing sponges. The chairs in the bedrooms had stains and grime all over them. The shared bathroom door also didn't lock properly, which I had mentioned to the owner but it didn't get fixed by the time we left. If you're looking for just a bed to sleep on, for the price it's good but don't expect anything more.

la literie est inconfortable, il n'y a pas de rangement ni d'équipement dans la pièce. La porte d'entrée de notre chambre se fermait mal. Aucune isolation sonore.

No hay personal en recelción a quien dirigirte. La habitación está muy mal insonorizada, se escucha todo el bullicio de la calle. A eso se suma que el local de al lado hace fiesta con música muy alta hasta las 6am. Es imposible dormir y descansar en este hotel.

We loved how secluded this hostel was from everything else - a real tranquil escape into the mountains. We stayed on sede 2 (quiet side) but could still walk a couple mins (up hill) to get to sede 1 which was a little more lively with music and a better pool view. It was a lot quieter than expected, but this might be due to visiting close to Christmas. The staff were all incredibly friendly and kind! The food and drinks were very well priced considering we were in the middle of no where (30,000 COP per meal, roughly). The transport via 4x4 was 30,000 COP each because we shared with other people - it was a little scary coming down but all part of the fun, with great music vibes throughout! We recommend going to the lookout for sunset (25mins walk along the main road). It was a straight forward downhill hike to Marinka waterfalls approx 1 hour 15 mins away. We moto taxi’d back up though since it would have been a constant steep incline!

Nothing! The internet signal is very poor but this added to the tranquility of being so far up in the mountains so not a problem. Good WiFi was available for free in the coffee shop if needed.
