On our last night, we experienced power outage the entire lodge.The problem was massive,took ESKOM the entire night to fix.The unit would have been extra comfortable, if it had inverter.We stayed in the dark whilst the neighbours had lights.

ZAIt was an absolute pleasure to stay at Cambalala! The unit is beautifully positioned on a little pond with plenty of bird and wildlife at your doorstep! We had everything we needed to make our stay super-comfortable including daily housekeeping - such a treat! The recently renovated bathrooms are gorgeous. Raymond was a super-host, treating us and our stay with care and concern. Cambalala is situated within Kruger Park Lodge and we were truly impressed by how neat the extensive grounds are kept. We will be back!
LBThe resort itself is beautiful and there is a lot to do, which makes it a great destination for a holiday with family. The surroundings and facilities are really enjoyable.
However, our experience was disappointing. We stayed for 5 nights but only had electricity for 2 nights. For the other 3 nights there was no power, which made the stay very uncomfortable, no AC (with the heat), no lights, and we couldn’t charge our phones for flash lights. Unfortunately, my grandmother even fell. The emergency lights in the unit were not working, and when we asked reception for a portable light they told us they didn’t have enough and suggested we buy one ourselves. The first night the power went out around 3 AM and no one answered our calls for explanation, so we had to drive to reception. For a resort of this level, backup generators should always be available.
DKEs fehlte an nichts und die Lage der Lodge war für uns perfekt und sehr ruhig gelegen. Das WiFi war super und absolut stabil. Erwähnen möchten wir noch Raymond, der bereits vor Ankunft Kontakt zu uns aufgenommen hatte und uns mit allen wichtigen und wissenswerten Informationen versorgte.
