Ricordi Siciliani - Charme Rooms

Location is perfect, less than a 5 min walk to the start of the shops and restaurants and a direct straight walk to the beach (10 min). The breakfast was nice with typical Italian breakfast items and the cappucino was the best I had in this area! Staff are lovely, the owner speaks good English and is very helpful and responsive. The room had a great shower, hairdrier and AC. The building itself and the small pool area is just beautiful, a real oasis of calm. Comfy beds and pillows and our room was well insulated with little to no noise at night-time so we slept very well.

Nothing that I didn't like, just information that may be useful for people. The safe is quite small and wouldn't be big enough to hold IPads or laptops etc but to note I had no concerns about leaving my items out as the accommodation is in a lovely area and is very secure. There doesn't appear to be a lift so be aware if you have any disabilities or injuries to request a room on the ground floor.

Antonio was an excellent host. His communication regarding check in, parking, dining & discounts for sunbeds was superb. The accommodation has been renovated so tastefully. Our room with balcony was clean, cool & stylish. Breakfast was included & was a bonus & Antonio made sure dietary restrictions were catered for as well. Location is fabulous, in the Main Street, a short stroll to the mini market, restaurant, shops, beach & wharf. The pool to cool off in the afternoon was incredibly appreciated. One tiny drawback was the service at breakfast, not coping so well during the peak time. That said it was minor & would not stop us from staying again. We highly recommend this property. Antonio (the host) was very nice, friendly and helpful. He gave very clear instruction upfront (via Whats App) how to get there with the car and how to get to the parking slot at outside parking which is 4 min drive by shuttle bus. The pick up and return to/from the parking has been perfectly organized by Antonio. Also he recommended a few nice local restaurants that we have enjoyed.

As a mum with a young child we felt supersafe in this hotel. The staff was lovely and most helpful. Amazing location
