Location was ok for its price

- Looks very different from pictures - Found a used condom under the bed - Doorman was picking his nose

The hotel was in a great location.The staff werefriendly and happy to help. The room was clean and cleaned daily.

Good size rooms for a solo traveller. Clean. Friendly cleaning staff and front desk staff were helpful.

Unfortunately, there was a lot of things wrong. I had a very bad experience, paid for a better quality room on a high floor but had a leak behind the wall the entire time it sounded like water running through the walls. No hot water for 6 out of the 9 nights we stayed. The sliding door wouldn’t shut so wind would come howling through the doors (which was quite a lot given its rainy season!). Came back room to find a massive puddle of water by the side of / under the bed, not sure how it got there? The room air conditioning stopped multiple times, so she moved us to a downgraded room with no soundproofing from the neighbours in the room next door. The move was meant to be temporary while they attempted to fix it, but then never communicated whether it had been fixed or not - so I was left in the downgraded room for 3 nights. I raised all the issues with them and was easygoing about it all but did ask if I could have flexibility with check out due to a late flight, and asked if I could check out 2 hours later. It was declined, they told me I had to pay extra to check out late, and could not offer any partial refund for downgrading my room (that I paid to upgrade originally) and to compensate for no hot water for 6 nights. I do want to say that the lady at the front desk was helpful - she did call her manager for us and I can appreciate that she is not making the decisions. So overall will never come to this hotel again! There was at least something to deal with every single day!
