Nice garden and good breakfast.

Owner was awful, tried to say we had no booking despite having a confirming email from him. Beds so hard might as well have slept on the floor. No hot water… ever. Only one towel between two of us. Stay here for the comedy value if you particularly like Faulty Towers.

A very nice guesthouse in a beautiful garden. The location is great. Mercaderias and restaurants in walking distance. Sonia and Nuno the host are really friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Would come again.

Beautiful garden, charming, antique atmosphere. Cozy room. Great breakfast, friendly staff. Cute dogs. I was able to do some workout with Nuno's gym space.

The only downside was the outside light coming into the bedroom at the night, which we couldn't block.

The guesthouse is conveniently located on the outskirts of village Eito and is a great starting point for many hikes in Santo Antao. The rooms are comfortable and clean, there is lots of greenery and fresh fruit - the breakfast was great! The owner and the housekeeper are both very nice and friendly. (There are also two little dogs living there who are super cute!)

Unfortunately, the boiler was broken so there was no hot water. There is also no internet available but the signal is okay so you can get a decent connection through your own mobile data. We didn't mind these issues and still had a great time.

A bit far from the city center and restaurants etc. The mattress is kind old and hard to sleep in. The private bathroom is not actually private (it's shared with other rooms if there are other guests)
