Shiner Country Inn

We had a great experience here Walking distance to the Shiner Palace Saloon Nice clean room and very reasonable. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you x

We have stayed here numerous times before automated. Floor was sticky. There was coffee but no filters.

Best thing was location

Beds were very soft, & used wash cloth hanging in shower

the property & rooms are very clean. I will say that the refrigerator had frozen ice inside. didn't use.

It was like taking a step back in time. So nostalgic. Loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

The room was comfortable and clean. It was a good location to town.

This was a location that did not have anyone attending it. The management sent a door code to enter. The lock did not work on the second day. I called the number posted on the window and let them know that the door would not lock. she said it showed locked on her equipment. I let her know that it showed locked incorrectly and that it would not lock. Her response was, “what do you want me to do about it, I’m not there.” I let her know I was uncomfortable leaving to visit family with the door not locking but she told me, “don’t worry about it, no one will break in, you can leave.” We did leave to visit family but the door never did lock for the last two days of our stay. Management never checked to see if the door was fixed, nor did they apologize for our concerns about the lock.

Nice little place check in was easy. Quick walk to shiner brewery and to eat. Just missing a pool

We were very happy with our stay. The property is very dated but it is clean and in good repair. The bed was extremely comfortable. If you are over 5'7 your gonna have fun in the shower since the shower head is very low. At 6'4, my GF was quite amused. Still, we had a great stay over 2 nights, the little park area was lovely at night. No problems at all. We discussed finding another reason to visit Shiner just to stay here. :-)
