Accommodating, helpful and friendly staff. They speak both English and Portuguese, are very helpful with showing you around and giving you recommendations for places to visit if you ask and they allow you to put your luggage in storage after check out for a bit. They also provide tours to go on and the breakfast had a good variety. The rooms are very spacious, good luggage storage, safe, beds are a good size and have good air conditioning. The other facilities are spacious and provide their functionality, have lots of space for putting your products on the side, e.g., in the bathrooms and shower rooms.

Would like to have separate bathrooms from different genders.

The central location can't be beat, especially for the affordable price. All of the staff I spoke to over the 4 days I stayed were super friendly and welcoming (thank you!). I stayed in a Female-only 4-bed dorm, and the room was a good size - enough space for us to move around. I especially liked the thoughtful design of the bunks and the showers: each bunk bed is almost like a "capsule" in that they are enclosed on all sides, and the opening is a black-out curtain (so you can have your light on, or your roommates can wake up early, and no one is disturbed) ... and also has a cubby with a light and several outlets inside. Bathrooms — plenty of toilets and showers on each floor so I never had to wait! And the shower stalls each have a tiny room with a bench and hooks, so you can easily bring your stuff and clothes. FUN STUFF: the roof deck is amazing, and the common area is spacious, also a full kitchen. REALLY APPRECIATED: Great security, 24 hour staff, and the luggage room has a lock that only the staff can open (such a relief!) — Thanks so much! — Recommend 100%

My only teeny tiny request would be to have at least one loaf of gluten-free bread available at breakfast. There was cereal (oats & corn flakes) that I could eat, but I would have loved to make toasty cheese sandwich :) ALSO: Some hard boiled eggs would be an excellent addition (for protein, for people who don't eat meat). -1 for the bed comfort because only one pillow that was a bit flat. (Mattress was cozy, though!)
