Tavnaghoney Cottages

Just returned from a lovely stay at Tavnaghoney Cottage. Great communication from the owner from beginning to end. It was a lovely surprise to find the cottage had been decorated with some Halloween bits, which my youngest loved. A few treats had also been left for us, which was very much appreciated. Cottage is in a good location, clean, spacious and had everything we needed whilst away.

Extremely well appointed, very high standard and very clean. Hosts were very attentive and very professional.

The cottage is beautiful, quiet and in a lovely location. Perfect for our family group with 2 children with additional needs. The facilities were clean and as listed, we had a very happy and comfortable stay.

Location was great for touring a fantastic location. The accommodation was gorgeous. As a bonus, we got snow.

Everything was perfect and we had a great weekend. Peace and quiet, lovely views, quality time with family. Our host had even decorated the cottage with Halloween items and the kids loved it. Cannot recommend it enough!

My only issue was that the wi-fi signal in the bedrooms was not great, but maybe that's a good thing!

Grosse Herzensempfehlung für das wohnlich warme Cottage auf einem tollen Landstrich mitten in Nordirland, ganz nah an der Causeway Coastal Route. Wir haben uns bei Padraig und Caroline wie zu Hause gefühlt. Wir haben sogar ein kleines Frühstück im Kühlschrank gehabt, da wir Nachts kamen. In unserer Ankunftsnacht gab es einen heftigen Sturm und Flut, daher war das Internet ausgefallen. Caroline und Padraig haben sich aber stets nach uns erkundigt und haben sich sofort um Probleme gekümmert. Das Wifi lief dann wieder, es kam zu Sturmschäden. Von dieser Unterkunft aus konnten wir alle Ausflugsziele super erreichen. Das Cottage ist super gut ausgestattet und mit drei Bädern und drei Schlafzimmer sowie einem großen Wohn- Essbereich echter Luxus für uns als Familie. Zum Kochen und für die Wäsche ( Waschmaschine, Waschmittel, Trockner, Bügeleisen, Bügelbrett) war alles vorhanden, das schätzen wir als Familie mit Kindern sehr. Die Kids hatten auch einen kleinen Hinterhof zum Spielen. In der Umgebung des Cottage begrüßten uns täglich Rinder und Schafe. Alles in Allem ein toller Aufenthalt und ein echter Geheimtipp.

Beautifully situated with lovely views. Very close to Cushendall with great access to the rest of the beautiful Glens of Antrim and the north coast. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and cosy. It was also decorated for Halloween which was such a lovely touch! I stayed here with my mum and 2 aunts and there was plenty of room with 3 bathrooms and 6 beds. Great for anyone with accessibility concerns as 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms are on the ground floor. We would definitely stay again, Caroline and Padraig were so lovely and helpful- great hosts.
