2 Bed in Sheringham oc-2310

It was a lovely cosy cottage to stay in and in a brilliant location. The sofas and beds were comfy with lovely blankets and cushions. We were just a short walk to the beach and high street.

The only things I would say would improve the property would be: 1. To have a washing machine/washer-drier (perhaps even instead of the dishwasher as we didn't use that at all!) Although there is a launderette round the corner and another at the garage, I needed to use it a couple of times and you dont want to be wasting time sitting in a launderette when you're on holiday! 2. The downstairs shower room is beautiful and a generous sized shower space, but the shower itself is a little disappointing and we couldn't get the temperature cool enough. A drencher shower would be wonderful in there - its the perfect size shower for one! Overall we had a lovely stay and the cottage was wonderful 🙂

Had a twin bedded room downstairs with its own bathroom. Ideal for my elderly parents. In town centre which is ideal as none of us drive. Near to promenade and not too far from coasthopper bus.

Convenient, quiet and beautifully decorated, cozy little space. It was good to have our own bathrooms too.

There’s a strong smell of damp throughout the flat but it’s easy to get used to it and it mostly disappears when the heating is turned up.

Great location. Very comfortable. Suited all our needs.

Upstairs bathroom is not good if you are over 5 feet tall the ceiling is far too low doesn't really work as a bathroom, bed is too large for the bedroom not enough room to walk around the end of the bed

The accommodation was in an ideal place in Sheringham. The kitchen, lounge and downstairs bedroom were fine. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. However, we do have one real issue with the first floor accommodation. You need to be fully aware of this. The bedroom was clearly constructed in an attempt to create extra accommodation space in the attic. Space around the bed was at a real premium. We could manage with that for the sake of two days. However, I’m afraid that the bathroom was highly inadequate given its tiny space. Our biggest criticism and concern was access to the ‘bathroom’. I am 6ft 3 inches. The door into the en-suite was less than 5ft high. I measured it. I have a couple of grazes on my scalp to prove it. At some stage someone is going to injure themselves trying to manoeuvre themselves into or out of the ‘bathroom’. For all the positives with the accommodation, the first floor bedroom will continue to create concerns and complaints for you.

The location. Easy to access shops and facilities as it's so central. We liked the traditional Norfolk character.

The ensuite bathroom has such a low tapering roof that it was almost inaccessible. Two of our party are tall and had to bend double. The gap at the foot of the bed was no more than 6 inches making it difficult to walk around. The area behind the front door is very tight for space. There was a notice saying that we couldn't open the French doors as they faced the courtyard which we had no access to. There was an odd smell which we could not place. It lingered all week. There was no outside area even to dry towels. We spent £34 on a weekly parking space as Sheringham was busy

Great position, quiet but near beach and high street. Had good kitchen equipment and was clean, smart TV and WiFi.
