Central location was good

Very dated rooms, dust on the bedside tables, no fridge. The wall next to the bed is hollow, so noise from piping and plumbing running through it is pretty consistent.

Staff are very welcoming and the residents lounge is a perfect edition to the hotel. Excellent with a bottle of port and a night cap.

The shower was a little small for a larger gentleman.

Room was fine and breakfast was really nice and the room it was served in

When we arrived it had a sign saying there was a private party on so couldn't get in at the time that was said on the website
