The Old White Lion Hotel

The building was stunning and full of character! The bed was very comfy and the location was excellent. Even being on a busy street there was no sound pollution either. There was also plenty of facilities such as kettle, hair dryers, towels, hot chocolate… it had it all!

The shower wasn’t the best but that was the only issue we had.

The atmosphere, the character of an old building, the amazing staff who were so friendly and hospitable, Fabulous location.

Ideally more parking but really it should be pedestrianised to retain the heritage of the historic village. The same reason applies to accessibility but the staff were extremely helpful, turning a disadvantage into a very pleasant experience.

Our room was very clean and the staff friendly.

The decor of the hotel in the public areas and our room is outdated. It needs redecorating and all carpets replacing.

How do you sum up a truly magical stay? I just want to return! Everything about this place is wonderful - from the service and staff, the food, the rooms and the location. Best place I've ever stayed in all of the UK.

We had a great stay at The White Lion. Rooms were spotless and all the staff were fantastic. Great food here from breakfast to dinner, and a lovely comfortable bar area to relax in afterwards. Towards the top of the hill in Haworth, but well worth the climb.
