Blackall Coolibah Motel

Motel looked a little tired but the staff were friendly andhelpful, and their kitchen provided the most succulent steak meals - generous portions. The room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering the location was on the main road. A very pleasant experience.

Location was going.. clean inside but very run down

When we drove in we wondered if we should back out ...very run down ,pool green but too cold to swim ,but in rooms very clean

Good comfortable clean room. Car under cover. Convient for our overnight stay.

Large room, decent home cooked food for a meal, good large sized portions. The food pretty much saved the place.

Staff couldn't have given less of a crap, completely uninterested in your stay, not made to feel welcome, was like I was an inconvenience. Also, just note that the whole entire town stinks really bad, an air freshener in the room would have done wonders.

Blankets left on the bed and not changed after previous guests.

Bathroom area very small, hard to get in/out of shower

The room had been recently refurbished and had a full size bathtub as well as a separate shower. We were pleasantly surprised to discover a king size bed. We could easily walk into town for a meal (it was some 400m) on the second night of our stay and we had no issue with traffic noise at night.

The owner was very helpful and friendly. We ate in one night and had great “pub food” - steak, salad and chips at a very reasonable price. We throughly enjoyed our stay.
