"Old facilities and very limited breakfast option"

Facilities were out of date, everything was the 80's. The sink was in the room instead of in the bathroom and there was no working of it the pictures. The shower and bathroom was old and the room lacking of natural light. We had continental breakfast and the choice was very poor. Very limited selection of fruit/yogurt/jam. Definitely not up for the price paid.

"Fine for a short stay."

It was fine for a one night stopover in Oxford. The room was basic but comfortable enough and very clean. There was a bit of road noise due to the windows needing to be open because of the heat but it did not really disturb us. Headington is a nice area with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs. We arrived after 8pm and still got a parking space.

There was a strong smell of air freshener when we first walked into the room which we did not like but it seemed to clear once the windows were open. Breakfast was OK for the price but not particularly tasty and portion size was quite small.

"Very Good"

An old fashioned guest house. Took the 400 bus from the station (25minutes) . Friendly reception. Everything felt very 1970/80s, clean and functional. I would stay again if the temperature was cooler

Parking on-site so did not have to drive in city center. It is close to frequest busses into city center. Friendly staff. It is close to restaurants and grocery. Quaint. Even walkable to town.

A bit noisy on main road.

Breakfast is excellent! Ample free parking. Good location. Very friendly and considerate staff.

Make sure you have a room with a private bathroom.
