Nothing to like. Industrial area has more amenities than the hotel.

Awful experience at the hotel which had initially been presented in a very different aspect from the pictures on Booking.com Very deceiving, during the booking process I had initially selected a DOUBLE ROOM with a LARGE DOUBLE BED which was given as an option. Upon arrival we were greeted by a RING doorbell and a non working reception, with a very unpleasant checking in process. After ringing the door bell multiple times I received a call from the receptionist/hotel manager to give me instructions on how to check into the room. Shortly after realising what we had signed up for and observing the room which looked nothing like the pictures shown. The room was practically a workers paradise as the entire hotel was filled with local workers who only require single beds for a night’s rest. The unprofessional hotel manager/ receptionist who did not speak English was very unhelpful as I had travelled with a pregnant woman and a 1 year old infant who absolutely required a double bed for the night. We were given no other choice but 2 single beds joined together with single bed sheets. Upon starting a massive debate over this we were not given any other choice and being unable to cancel the booking as we were going to be charged the entire stay regardless. No attempt to resolve the issue and have any sympathy or understanding towards us made me very uncomfortable and frankly I was fuming the ignorance from this female individual presenting herself as a hotel manager without any customer service approach was something I do not wish upon anyone. After requesting to be provided with a double bed for the night this was denied as apparently the entire hotel was full to the brim. The other thing I requested was for a double bed sheet to be put on both single beds to make it a little bit more comfortable for my 1 year old son to sleep in between us, this was also denied by telling me there was a shortage of bed sheets there was no double sized sheets available.

The entire experience was awful from arrival to checking out. Horrible staff presenting herself as a HOTEL MANAGER with 0 customer service approach. Inconsiderate, overpriced, uncomfortable and very ignorant.

Locatie op industrieterrein is voor een nacht wel goed. Geen restaurant open wel 1 dag ontbijt kunnen gebruiken omdat er genoeg gasten waren.

We made a last minute decision to visit Germany for a night and experience the Aachen Christmas market. All the hotels close to the market were fully booked - so we booked Hotel Gloria, we knew it was 25 minutes by car away from the market, situated next to a freeway and in an industrial area, so our expectations were low. But it was GREAT! We didn't hear the freeway at all, the hotel helped us arrange a taxi to and from the market. There is a restaurant next door which served amazing cocktails! Breakfast was great for 9 euros, a typical German breakfast. We were also offered the best scrambled eggs! We loved making our own gourmet breakfast rolls and it was exactly as we expected! PLUS, pet friendly with a fee of 15 euros - totally reasonable!
