This place was a real prize. It had real charm and was also completely up to date and modern. Rooms were quiet, well apportioned, and comfortable. Of all the sites we toured in Kathmandu, Patan Darbar Square was the best, and this hotel is a 2 min walk away. Staff was courteous, very helpful, and helped with transportation. They also offered tour booking. Breakfasts were very good and included an omlet service. Restaurant exceeded expectations as well - the menu is large and most of the stuff we ordered was excellent. The rooftop bar is also a great place to spend an afternoon, with views of Darbar Square and the mountains. Another restaurant that was excellent was Yala Garden, also a 2 min walk away.

WiFi was fair, but internet connectivity was spotty. This is more a Kathmandu problem than a hotel issue. No elevator, and the stairs have a step mid-landings that threw us a couple times, but not a big deal for us.

The location was perfect. Steps away from the historic temple area in Patan.
