Villa Ciwuwi Balangan by Nagisa Bali

Nice pool, comfortable beds, helpful stuff and ok breakfast (even though we would have liked more options for a long stay as ours). In addition, the beach is nice and 5’ walking which is very handy.

-Unfortunately there were making constructions in the nearby property. As a result it was super noisy 😒 -Too remote, it is far from everything. -We felt that we did not have enough privacy. The staff were around often (despite the good intentions). - We had to leave the room keys every day for the stuff to clean the rooms and recuperate them from an open drawer. This made us feel uncomfortable in regards to security. They could simply have another pair of keys for cleaning reasons to avoid the hassle

Easy walk to Balangan beach, lovely layout, good pool, extras like robes and slippers. Modern, nice bathrooms, lock box in each room, locks to each room. Great pool, kitchen and lounging areas. Staff very accomodating.

Nothing, we were not a group who needs a lot of attention or fuss, so refused the offer of a night security guard.

Great location - close to the beach (easily walkable), friendly staff, good size bedrooms, private communal area with outdoor seating, great swimming pool and very good breakfast (good options and generous in size). Staff were helpful and attentive in organising bikes, airport pick-up and drop-off. We would recommended, however - see comments in 'what didn't you like'.

Tiled floors around swimming pool are incredibly slippy when slightly wet. Staff hung around a bit - they were very helpful and friendly, but when you book a private villa you don't expect them to turn up at random times which put us off a bit (but it was with good intentions). Security measures (pad locks and security around the property) made it feel like we were in a bad crime area (a bit paranoid) although we saw nothing to suggest this was the case. A touch expensive perhaps.

pay attention to the bed linen in one of the rooms, cleaning under the furniture

staff were very friendly and breakfast cooked every morning was tasty! rooms cleaned every day.

location was very secure so we felt safe

A great private villa that had wonderful staff.

It was quite remote for us so we took a driver to Jimbaran for a day as there wasn't much to so in the area. It is however, very busy with surfers ans very close to a surf beach.
