USThe house was pretty and clean, and the hosts were friendly. There's no direct beach access, but it is within walking distance.
We stayed during a heat wave and there were no fans provided, so we were roasting the entire time. We tried to sleep with the windows open as a result, and the mosquitos ate us alive during the night. There were so many!

ZAWithin walking distance of the beach and shops, The Beach Cottage is the perfect place for a family to stay in Betty’s Bay. The many little touches (tea, various coffees, milk, rusks, chutneys, olives, wine) make such a difference when you walk in, and there was virtually every type of appliance, utensil or container needed for a very comfortable stay. While the cottage is compact, it is neat and has comfortable seating inside, on the verandah or around the outside firepit. We will most certainly be back.
