I reseeved my room weeks in advance, caaled from the airport when I landed to let them know when I'd be arriving and to make sure i could check in that late. Was assured my room would be ready for me and I could check in. Arrived at the stated hour, no iffice to be found, no one in the bar, all entry doors locked and no one answering the phone. I finally gave up (after calling 7 times) and found a room in town. Nope...not going there again. EVER

Staff was friendly and accommodating and the on site restaurant food was very good. The bathroom was small and it would be nice to have more shelf space for toiletries when using the bathroom.

No frills motel. Clean. Small.

Was attending a convention in State College and most of the nearby hotels had severely jacked up rates for that weekend, so I decided to suck up the drive and book this one, due to the fact that it was within reasonable distance from the venue, and the prices were really good. We had to go to the Take Out entrance to get the key as instructed in the info for the property, the staff there were kind, although it was a little weird that I had to show her my expedia booking, but I didn't mind. We got to the room, which was very clean, reasonably sized and comfortable. The bed linens were clean, the heater worked well, the tv was okay, but the temperature of the shower left a lot to be desired. It was only slightly above room temp and we were really looking forward to a hot shower after our busy day. Instead we got a lukewarm one. Also, after 11 PM there was what seemed like a frat party next door that lasted until around 2 am. It was loud and insufferable. Apparently it was trivia night, and I can now tell you what most of the major capital cities are of the US states. The walls are VERY thin, bring earplugs!! That being said, there is a beautiful lake and playground next door, which we were unable to take advantage of due to it being so cold outside in mid Feb and a nice family owned restaurant next door which had delicious food, and awesome service. The only thing reason I am giving it a 4 star instead of a 5 is the water temp of the shower, the lack of vending machines available for late night snacks, and the super thin walls. Honestly, these things are just so inconsequential that a 4.9 would be more fitting. A great, family run business! Will stay here again. (in the summer - with earplugs)

My stay was wonderful. The room was clean. The staff that checked me in was pleasant and cheerful. I'm happy to spend my money at a well run independently owned businesses. The bonus was a beautiful park right across the street.

You get what you pay for. I went for extremely cheap for selecting lodging and got exactly that. They don't even give you the tiny bar of soap ( which would cost what $0.08) in order to take a shower. Yet it cost almost $100.00 to spend a night there. Would never recommend to anyone.

They were very busy but still friendly and helpful.

Stopped by We Are Inn a few weeks ago for a late lunch. I had a Cheese Steak. It was impressive, five stars. We definitely wanted to return since they have a nice dinner menu. Return we did. My wife and I both decided to try the Pasta and Meatballs with salad. To our surprise the waitress brought out the salad and pasta dish at the same time. Oh well, it is what it is. After hastily eating our salads, it was time for pasta and meat balls. First couple bites, wow this is barely warm, definitely not hot. The red sauce was watery, possibly from the pasta not being sufficiently drained. At this point I was disappointed. Despite being disappointed in our meal we decided to have dessert. When we asked, “What do you have for dessert?”, our waitress replied that they had some type of lemon thing, some cheesecake, cannoli. She said that she did not notice what their dessert specials were because they got slammed as soon as she arrived for work. She did not offer to get a menu for us to look at their desserts, she did not offer to go back and check what they had for dessert. We left feeling surprised and disappointed.
