Beautiful location. Very picturesque and peaceful. Rooms were stunning and well equipped. The host, Ditte, and her husband are just wonderful. Very warm and welcoming and ready to help with anything we needed. The breakfast is phenomenal and was brought to our room to enjoy on our private balcony overlooking the lovely views. We will definitely stay again.

We had 3 rooms with all generations of the family staying. My father in law will always find something to complain about…but this was the first time he didn’t complain! So there was nothing we didn’t like.

Super clean, very good hosts, comfortable

Loadshedding is a pain. Most places I’ve stayed in these last 12 weeks have made a plan to combat this. Also breakfast in room is fine when weather is good. It was definitely not easy as it was cold and rainy and nowhere in the bedroom to eat comfortably

"A Gem on the Eastern Cape"

A really lovely place to stay for a few days and enjoy the town of Port Alfred. Very relaxing with charming hosts who looked after us splendidly. We played golf at Royal Port Alfred and it was a delight. Visited the oldest pub in South Africa, The Pig and Whistle in nearby Bathurst. Magnificent breakfasts.
