Very nice

The food/drinks provided at the guest house are good -but the prices are steep.

Given the nice pictures and very positive (2) reviews on booking.com, we had high expectations for our 3-day stay at this place. They were, however, crushed. We booked and used all four rooms of this guest house, giving us a chance to see the different standard of the rooms (this might be the reason why previous reviews were so positive -they only had a limited insight into the facility). As noted in the title, the place has clearly seen better days. The deck that makes up much of the outdoor area is close to falling apart. Two of the rooms are basically reworked (large) chicken coops -individual rooms separated from the hallway by a single-board wall that had large gaps in them. For two days, construction was going on while we were staying at the place (the owners seem to add additional rooms). AC and fridges were not working well -with a lot of vibration/resonance going on, making sleeping at night difficult. The advertised hot tub/whirlpool didn't work. Somehow, staying at his place was a pretty depressing experience, so much so that we left a day early.

It ‘s an enclosed paradise in a good neighbourhood. The staff is very caring, and the trips with Tammy were also very nice.

I consentily booked the red velvet room because I found it spacious and nicer than the other room that was also available - the Bejewelled. As we arrived, we were directed to the Bejewelled room. I said it was not the room I booked. First the owner tried to fool me and then when I showed her my reservation she just said that the other room was already booked. She did a double booking and did not even care of informing me. It seems she knew what she was doing because the Bejewelled room was not really ready (there was something in the sink. Also this room looks nothing like the photos. She also did not mention the heavy construction work on site prior to my arrival. I had to require a refund, and at the end I went somewhere else and paid more as it was a last minute booking. Rather a bad experience for me here.

The host was great! They were very responsive to our messages, and they were always willing to help us with anything we needed. The apartment was clean and well-furnished, and it was located in a great location near with restaurants and cafes. Surprisingly it was very peaceful in the mist of downtown Kingston area. We would definitely stay with them again!

We adored One32 Guest House! The atmosphere is relaxing and serene, the food is amazing; it was a perfect little getaway in the heart of the city. We'll definitely be back!

Quiet, cozy place. Like a little haven in the middle of the city. The area right outside the doorway to the room to me is like a nice little garden oasis with flowing pool of water that makes a sound like rain. It is relaxing...i keep my doorway open. Price is fair. They really dont have a bar, just a fridge with beverages.They do offer home cooked local meals from scratch. I had red herring and breadfruit for breakfast and it was excellent 10 dollar US. U have to call beforehand to arrange to get meals. They will not take care of your needs readily, you have to walk around a little bit to find someone to help you if you need something.This is not a hotel, you understand. Your best bet is to call the number for this place provided in your reservation.
