Beautiful property, friendly staff and great service

The rooms were spacious, very clean and well decorated in a quiet location overlooking fields. The bed was very comfortable with crisp clean sheets and lovely pillows. Very nice bathroom with plentiful toiletries. We particularly appreciated the tea tray with speciality teas and coffees , biscuits and fresh milk. The staff were all very hospitable . The breakfast was excellent with lighter options on offer too. Would highly recommended.

Despite contacting the management, I have had no response. Disappointing food experience will stop me from returning. Room, bar and staff excellent. No choice for vegetarians for evening meal. Only a below standard shallot tart. They had a run out of plaice. So I had the fish and chips. Batter soggy and chips not crisp. This not the first time that I have been disappointed with the food. So there has been no improvement. Shame because we love the location.

Staff, cleanliness, facilities and food were all excellent.

Unfortunately the heating system didn't work in our room despite several attempts by staff to rectify the situation. We were given a fan heater.

Great rooms, great breakfast, great dinner. Just great really!
