CW3 Karl and his better half, Laura are great hosts. Cloudcroft this time of year is fantastic. Watch where you step while out walking... Deer and Elk scat abound. We will return.

Beautiful area, the only lacking is more variety of places to eat.

I needed a last minute getaway from a hectic month and I chose the perfect place! My cabin was super clean, cozy and comfortable. This is exactly what you would think a mountain cabin would look like. The place is quiet but very close to everything. I never moved my car the entire stay. My bed was super comfortable. I slept in late the first day I slept so well. The shower was amazing! Plenty of hot water and fabulous water pressure. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed. There are even complimentary cookies to enjoy! Nice! I felt safe and had privacy with the luxury knowing people were close by. This was my first time to Cloudcroft and Karl was so helpful! He recommended great places and I even ran into him in town. As I was walking I encountered numerous deer. Such a beautiful area. If you are wanting a place that is clean, friendly, cozy and accommodating this is the place and a bonus the price is right! I highly recommend staying here and I definitely will be back and will recommend to others.

I loved it! The cabin was wondaful. It had everything I needed, lots of amenities. Great place to get out of the heat. Even saw deer and elk from the front door. Very relaxing atmosphere.

The bed was comfortable and the bed and bathroom linens were new.

The furniture in the living area was extremely uncomfortable. The couch cushions were on a board and I didn’t feel like the couch or rug were clean. The rocking chair was also uncomfortable. There wasn’t a good place to sit outside. The cabin was right on the road and the chairs were up against the house so it wasn’t very conducive to sitting outside.

Really liked the host. Very easy to speak with and he gave us high quality information on things to do in the area. Even got to pet the local cat a few times. Quiet area and very close to many places to hike.
