The room was amazing!! We have busy lives, and it was the best weekends' sleep we had in a long time. We decided to stay two nights, and as it was winter time, we had the entire spa, pool, gym, sauna, and steam room entirely for ourselves. The sauna is on from 16h, but if you ask at the reception in the morning what time you would like (give 1h notice) they will happily arrange for you. I can imagine in peak times it's unpleasant when busy, but we had it all to ourselves. We also had an amazing romantic bath together ❤️ enough to fit two people, 180cm, in no problem. The beach and strand is a few hundred metres walk, less than 5 minutes and you're in the sea. Cold water dippers would love it in winter and straight back to the hotel for a sauna. The breakfast was really nice and they had plenty of hot/cold food choices. Not a full English breakfast menu but hot continental. The coffee from the machines was nice, as well as in the rooms, and fresh bread, fruit, and yoghurt was the perfect start to the day. We decided to head to nearby Domburg (15-minute drive) for an evening meal. There are plenty of restaurants with all cuisine. Recommend to book in advance as we got turned away from El Fuego (Mexican) as it was full, but got the last two seats in Italian restaurant Verdi. Amazing pizza and quick service as was full capacity.

I found there wasn't good signage and instructions around the place, but I'm British, with limited Dutch language, so maybe I missed Dutch signs? Also, I found it totally bizarre that such a high-end, multi-million euro holiday hotel and complex don't have reception open for longer. We needed extra towels for the spa, and wanted extra coffee/milk for the room machine but it was closed at 17.30h in the week and earlier in the afternoon. It was strange for such a lovely place just to be left with no reception or at least a porter or something. They did have an emergency contact etc to call but we didn't want to use that for such minor requests. We had to use wet towels and drink tea instead that we brought ourselves. It would be nice if they had a coffee station to collect more. Also, the room fridge (that was advertised) didn't work, I brought my own milk and some soft drinks that were warm and I even left them in the end which was annoying. I wanted to complain and ask about the fridge when we arrived but reception was closed 😢

Nice location, at ~750 m from he public beach. Friendly staff operating a well run hotel in a relaxed atmosphere. This hotel is recently build, quiet, modern and eco friendly. Spacious room with balcony. Excellent rainshower. Free towels and bath robes for visiting the sauna / spa / swimmingpool. Also fitness is included. Rental bikes are available.

The pool is relatively small, but nice nonetheless. The steam cabin must have mallfunctioned. It remained cold and only produced cold theater mist. This was mentioned at the front desk. A technicius will further investigate.

restaurant staff were lovely and helpful. we enjoyed our meal at the brasserie.

it was a bit soulless reception closed at 4pm we weren’t fully informed about how to use the spa and no one was there to ask.
