In Fort Lauderdale one is spoilt for hotel choice!! If you are looking for something nice & easy and just a few blocks back from the beach choose the ROLO BEACH. It has been attractively renovated, the rooms are large and cotemporally furnished. There is a nice small pool, the beach is nearby with along with several good local restaurants. However you have to make the choice of Light or Privacy?? All the bedroom windows look outward into the public areas or any passing guest! It is a shame that the owners did not fit better blinds to handle this situation!

My reservation was for a king suite in the older, unrenovated part of the complex. It had a full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave and full-sized sink and Keurig-style coffeemaker. Older but clean with a platform king bed that was comfortable. Very close (walkable) to the beach and multiple eateries and shops. The staff was very kind, even after losing my key. I would definitely stay again.

We recently stayed here as a family of four and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was—plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax comfortably. The location is a major highlight: you're within walking distance to everything Ft. Lauderdale Beach is known for—great restaurants, shops, and of course, the beautiful beach itself. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making check-in and any requests feel easy and welcoming. That said, it was quite loud during our visit due to Fourth of July fireworks nearby—not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you're visiting over a holiday weekend and have young kids or light sleepers. One thing we didn’t love: the extra charge for parking. Given the nightly rate, it feels like parking should be included. Still, overall a great experience and we’d consider staying again!

Phoebe a check in was very nice very courteous very convenient with her ice machines I think they have laundry room as well to use if need be very nice rooms very well decorated I'd stay there again it's within blocks of the beach very convenient nicely priced and beautiful place
