Excellent rooms over a lovely pub. Amazing selection of snacks in the room and for continental breakfast. Very comfortable too. Fabulous location.

Location is great, between good shops and the nature reserve. Staff were very friendly and - although there was no cooked breakfast option - the breakfast bar was quite generous. Overall, very good value I think. I'd like to go back when the bowls lawn is open in the summer.

It is, after all, a pub and pubs get noisy later in the evening (especially quiz nights!) - not compatible with an early night after a long walk. But, as I said, it's a pub so fair play.

Great location and very comfortable. There was plenty of food to help ourselves to. We could also charge our car there.

Quiet and peaceful nights sleep, felt safe. Comfy bed and soft pillows not bricks to sleep on. Staff super friendly and helpful. Attention to make your stay welcome was incredible. Snacks, beverages, fresh fruit and croissants that made my daughter very happy.
