The Embassy Valletta Hotel

We stayed for 7 nights at the Embassy and, for the most part, were very pleased with our choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, on the rooftop restaurant, was very good with lots of choices. Our room, 306, was spotlessly cleaned every day, with clean towels whenever requested. The hotel is within easy walking distance of both the central areas of Valletta, with its bars and restaurants (more on that later) and the ferry crossing to Sliema. We have only two “negatives” regarding our stay, one of which is beyond the control of the hotel. We did not eat at the rooftop restaurant at night because there was a distinct lack of vegetarian options on the menu. I appreciate this is a life choice but perhaps this would encourage more customers in the future. As previously stated, we stayed in room 306 which overlooks strait street. This was very noisy at night with the surrounding restaurants and bars in competition for playing their boom , boom music. Most nights (Sunday was the exception) the noise carried on past midnight, then we had people, often drunk, walking past the hotel and talking(?) loudly and tables and chairs being dragged into the restaurants, presumably by staff. Then in the morning (7ish) the cafeteria, opposite the hotel, drag their tables into the street.

Einfach alles top, tolles ,und sehr sehr freundliches Personal..Alles sauber ,top zimmer.Rooftopbar einmalig. Extrem schwer einem Tisch zu bekommen .Wenn geht so zeitig wie möglich buchem.

The hotel has an excellent location in the old town Valetta, has easy access to many restaurants and bars in the area. The 360 view from the roof top is stunning. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The concierge Aleksandar, had many useful recommendations for day trips and dinners. He is proactive and very resourceful when it comes to finding solutions. Upon departure we found out that we left a couple of items at the hotel. Before we even called the hotel to check if they had our belongings, Aleksandar has already shipped the items to our home address. It’s hard to beat such level of service.
