Hidden Haven Cottages

I was looking for a quaint place for my dog and I to stay at for a weekend and ran across Hidden Haven Cottages. I called it my "little slice of Heaven," not realizing the logo is Your Heavenly Hideaway. It's within walking distance to the downtown area, the staff is VERY accommodating and pleasant, the cottage was super clean and I'm impressed at the upgrades the new owners have made and plan on making. (I picked up some coasters for the room as the tables are all wood and the "Up North" set I donated are just perfect. The owner plans to get more. The other guests were mindful of the "house rules" and it was quiet with the exception of normal road traffic. I hope to return in the fall season for the color change. 10 stars!!!!

Comfy, cozy, and rustic up north feel. Better than staying in a hotel room. Set off the main road just enough to keep the noise level down.

I always stay here on trips to lake city, quality rooms for a fair price, the owners are attenitive and go above and beyond to make your stay feel welcome and comfortable. I recommend this place to all my friends and family

I like the quiet atmosphere and friendly service.

Everything was great in our cottage. Only downfall was our room only had a small dining room table. Would have like a couch or loveseat for a place to set outside of the table and the bed. Other than that absolutely no complaints.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed.

The area was quiet and there were fire pits you could use if you wanted.

Property was falling apart, lamp shades wouldnt stay on, trim falling off the doorways, pieces of wood just leaning up against the wall to cover pipes. Walls and ceiling with visible dirt.

The manager (Melissa) wasn’t at the property but was very accommodating on the phone. I loved the little cottage and how it was decorated. There isn’t much parking which wasn’t a problem at the time. The shower water never got over luck warm and I was kinda grossed out by the stains on the carpet. I just kept my shoes on. But it really was a decent and quiet place. I wouldn’t complain if I had to stay again.

The property fit our purpose of having a place to sleep. It is a good property for hunters, but I would not spend a week there on vacation as there is not much to do. I liked that each cabin had efficiency kitchen and a streaming service for the television.
