Free rental of snowshoes and skis, and a lot of other free equipment. View from the room was awsome.

Thin walls; you hear everything. There's no place to open a suitcase other than the bed or living room.

We liked everything The owners are very nice; we strongly recommend the restaurant (in particular the reindeer tartar 🤩) Breakfast is nice. Well located : not too much crowded, very nice place with a lot of activities (you can borrow skis at the reception) The room is clean and you have a beautiful view The breakfast is nice as well

Giellajohka is a hidden gem. The pictures do it no justice. The 3 days we spent there were the most magical, we had magnificent views of the Northern lights from our room (stayed in the tower cabin) and from across the river. They have a lovely set up to watch for the auroras outside, a teepee set up with fire to keep you warm while you wait. Anita, Jouni and their team are so friendly and accommodating to their guests. We did snowmobile one day and snowshoeing the next day. All winter activities can be booked on site. The sauna was a bonus and we even braved taking an icy plunge in the river. The resort is quite a drive from Ivalo airport but totally worth it if you want to see the northern lights. All on all, we had the most relaxing few days at Giellajohka and look forward to returning soon.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Giellajohka Unterkunft. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft – mitten im Nirgendwo, absolute Ruhe und Natur pur. Genau das, was man braucht, um abzuschalten. Besonders schön fanden wir die familiäre Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und ein bisschen wie zu Hause. Das vorbereitete Frühstück war mit viel Liebe angerichtet – fast so, als würde man bei Oma und Opa am Tisch sitzen. Einfach herzlich und gemütlich. Ein echtes Highlight war das Eisbaden im Fluss sowie die Sauna – ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Rund um die Unterkunft gibt es Rentiere, was die Atmosphäre noch besonderer macht. Außerdem werden viele tolle Aktivitäten angeboten, wie Rentierschlittenfahrten, Huskytouren, Snowmobile-Fahrten sowie die Rentierfütterung. Hier ist für jeden etwas dabei. Insgesamt eine ganz besondere Unterkunft für alle, die Natur, Ruhe und Herzlichkeit schätzen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

아이스 피싱에서 우리모두 한마리도 잡지 못한것은 아쉬웠지만 스노우모빌을 타고 달리는 경험만으로도 즐거웠습니다. 이동 경로도 신경써 동선을 설계한 것이 느껴져 안심되고 모든 액티비티는 매우 안전하게 통제되고 있었습니다.
