Climbers Cottage

This cottage is very spacious and in a fantastic location to explore the village, the national park and beyond. We loved it here. Phone reception is an issue in that area but the very good wifi certainly helped a lot.

After doing some extra cleaning (especially in the kitchen) we all felt very comfortable in this very well equipped cottage.

Beautifully appointed and kept cottage, well equipped, cosy and comfy, situated in a peaceful “picture postcard” village with handy amenities and well-located for visiting many highlights of the Yorks Moors.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. One of those places you instantly feel at home in. Although we didn't meet out hosts, they always kept in contact via booking.com. Very happy, thank you.

The cottage was very comfortable, beautifully furnished and well equipped. We loved the large living/dining area looking out onto the private garden. Rosedale Abbey is the perfect base, with a village shop, cafe, deli and two pubs. There are some great walks and scenery on your doorstep, and the village is well placed to explore the rest of the North York Moors.

We had a slight issue with the hot water timings, but this was easily resolved by emailing the owner - thank you.

We have just returned from our Easter weekend stay at Climbers cottage. An absolute gem of a cottage in a gorgeous peaceful location. The hosts are so helpful and the cottage has every thing you need and more. We will be back

There isn't anything to dislike about Climbers cottage

We had a lovely stay at climbers cottage . Very comfortable spacious and set in a ideal location . Lots of scenic walks nearby and great pub and tea rooms .

Well equipped and surprisingly spacious cottage in a lovely village. Lots of lovely walks to do in the area and some stunning scenery nearby.

The heating system was controlled remotely by the owners, but they did sort out the hot water very quickly when we asked them to.
