Cute small nostalgic village at the foot of perynees. Surrounded by mountains and a river. Gorgeous. Authentic.

Location, clean room

Room was too hot, with no a/c (there is a ventilator but it was not enough) and the window was difficult to open. I’m not a fan of a/c but I would have used it for a few minutes just to refresh the room.

This is a very cleverly designed place to stay, hidden away inside the maze of streets, with lots of nice design touches like the re-purposed pallets used as plate and spice racks in the kitchen. The shared areas were very clean, and the kitchen/dining area well supplied with all you need to travel independently. The view across the main square to the hills beyond was delightful.

This is absolutely not the fault of the hostal but a noisy neighbour across a narrow street kept me awake until the small hours. Bring ear plugs.
