The view of the mountains, very clean and excellent kitchen

Not all windows had screens especially in bathroom, a toilet separate from the shower and sofa bed on main floor would have been more practical, more hooks in bathroom.

Our family of 5 stayed in one of the cabins. The cabin was well-appointed and beautiful. The view was spectacular, the beds comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. It was our favorite place that we stayed.

I wish that parking was closer to the cabin, but the rest of the cabin made up for it.

Easy check-in out of hours with well communicated pass code. Bike storage was open air cover opposite reception. Tho' not "secure" unless you are travelling with massive lock, the location of the hostel makes it unlikely that bikes will go walkabout. Excellent catering facilities in common kitchen and comfy lounge. Beer and basic provisions available from reception. Also bear spray, if you've been struggling to get any and at a fair price. Quiet location a few km out of town. Easy to cycle to.

Problem with hostels is other guests appear to have little concept of the noise they make when accessing common facilities such as shared washrooms. Absolutely no fault or marking down of hostel for this, just ignorant guests.
