Marley House Bed & Breakfast

On arrival the house uses a "ring" doorbell,which we had to try a few times. We eventually it was answered Mark came across as rude, we didn't see anyone when we entered and had to guess where our room was, first names were written on a piece of paper with room number, but mine wasn't written down properly. However the room was pretty with a lovely view. In the room information handbook it said that we needed to state what time we wanted breakfast but again there was no one to tell. Eventually met Mark in the evening who was pleasant enough. Breakfast was average and despite the fact I had informed them that we were vegetarian no real alternatives were offered and although it said vegan options were on offer there wasn't really anything. Having said all that we had a nice break and it was quiet. Mark and Jan could benefit from having contact with their guests on arrival.

A lovely guesthouse in a beautiful countryside setting. Very helpful, friendly staff and we were able to bring our dog too!

Great place to stay, lovely friendly welcome and great advice on places to eat locally. Perfectly located for visiting Dorset's attractions. We'll definitely be back.

Great location, very quiet at night. 2 miles from Durdle door and 3 miles from Lulworth Cove. Attractive property with newly refurbished modern rooms. Good choice at breakfast including pastries, toast, yoghurt, fruit, cereals and a full english cooked however you request. Great hosts in Jan and Mark, very warm, relaxed, easy going and always laughing. Nice to see Charlie and George at breakfast, the resident dogs!

Our bedroom was spacious with a very comfortable bed and great light. The location of Marley House is also spot on. Unfortunately the property was experiencing a fly problem which really put the downer on breakfast. Not sure the owners really have their hearts in the business.

I stayed at Marley House Bed & Breakfast in Dorchester, which is such a lovely Bed & Breakfast with an amazing location. I highly recommend this place. The hosts are so lovely. Immediately upon arriving, I was greeted by their two cute dogs and the host, who helped me with my bag and chatted with me for a little bit to make me feel welcome. The rooms are newly renovated and come with a Smart TV. My favorite part of the room was the extremely comfortable bed. There is a lovely enclosed garden out back and a spacious garden in the front, which makes it such an ideal location if you are bringing along your furry friend. Mila loved running around in the back garden. The best part of the place is the location. It is conveniently located just a 10 minute drive away from Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove.
