Hillside Inn

The stay was great for my purposes, room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were dated if you are coming for a resort vibe it’s not here. The vending machines are not stocked, cute little coffee shop on site open 8am to 1:30 pm. If you want to use the kitchenette there is a fee for dishes pots etc available from front office. Office staff helpful easy check in. I will use again as I just need something clean and safe in the area.

Have stayed here before and it was just OK, so our expectations were low. This time was horrible!! Filthy room, stained carpets, dirty walls. Sink clogged multiple times - was already clogged when we arrived - and housekeeping had to keep coming back to try and unclog it. Marcin containers littering the ground outside, no towels for pool. The strong smell of mildew in the room had us packed up and leaving by 6am. Never again!

No air conditioning in the bedroom of the family suite. The AC in the main room didn't cool down that room for several hours. No towel racks in bathroom. No screen on one of the windows. Beds were comfortable. They did provide a fan for the room with no AC. We were lucky. They said they only had 3 fans for the property.

Clearly an older facility but updated. Staff was nice and a excellent restaurant was near for breakfast. I will stay there again.

The kids liked the pool. The junior suite had a kitchen area that allowed for more seating and places to spread out within the room.

We booked a room for 5 people. The desk clerk knew that because she upgraded us to a junior suite. However, there were only 2 bath towels in the room. No extra towels for the pool either. Only one washcloth. There were 2 full trash bags outside the sliding glass back door of our suite. They must have been there from previous customers. Walking back and forth to our car required us to walk through the restaurant patio seating area. So awkward trying to dodge the waiters with food. The cost was way too high for the quality of the hotel.

Nice room with microwave & refrigerator. Very convenient location.

Clean and quiet. Bed could be more comfy for my back but otherwise nice room. Spacious and amenities were great
